Thank You

Thanks to all the amazing teachers at The New Lincoln School in New York who taught me how to think. In particular, Bernie Sherman who taught 7th and 8th graders the concepts of imperative programming with nothing but pencil and paper by turning the class into a computer. You were brilliant, and we were blissfully unaware of your struggles. More than ten years passed before I thought about or used a computer, but I never forgot the concepts. Marty Kerner and Steve Hartman- you made advanced algebra and calculus seem intuitive and effortless. Eleanor Yahoda Horwitz- for teaching me how to write, to love science, and for trying to teach us how to type. Verne Oliver, Bob Giard, Lois Lord, Joseph Rizik, Rocky Stensrud, Dinah Nemeroff and too many others to mention. Thank you.
